Camp NaNo Round 2 - Week 1

Drinking: Choice Organic Oolong

Reading: Mini-Shopaholic, Sophie Kinsella

August is already faring much better than July when it comes to novel writing. I'm on track with my word count and my plot is moving along nicely. I'm making new discoveries about my characters and the direction they need to go every day!

The weather's behaving and, believe it or not, dropping in temperature. Which makes writing outside in the backyard or on the porch an absolute dream. (As long as there aren't any wasps around... *shudder*)

However, my wrists are showing the slightest hint of protest in the form of an ache. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a word that starts with "B" and ends with "itch." I should take more breaks but it's hard when I'm on such a roll!

Here's hoping to a fabulous second week!
