Reading: Sara Gruen - Water For Elephants. Because books come before movies!
I'm working, I swear. Three's Company is about halfway complete! There's not a whole lotta information out there about modern American polyandry, so I take what I can in the form of research. The fun part is getting into the psychology of the characters, and I'm finding men really aren't that different from women when it comes to jealousy in relationships. (But we knew that, right?)
Anyway, a person can get lost in the details, so it helps to create a pattern of rewards. And here's mine:
Write/Revise for 30 minutes = One episode of Sister Wives (aka "research")
Write/Revise for 60 minutes = One episode of Big Love (aka "research")
I've written for 30 minutes this morning, so I'm off to claim my reward! Ahem, I mean, research!
I haven't read Water for Elephants but I heard the movie is coming out soon!

Water for Elephants was pretty good! I had a hard time putting it down, which to me is a sign of a very well-written story.
